A Really Simple Meal, made with Left Overs and No Meat

My friends and readers; thank you very much for your support to my little effort in creating an alternative for creating simple dishes, that not necessarily have to contain meat, as well simple ideas for the house. This little but neat idea, comes from my enjoyment from the MorningStar products that are made by Kellogg's.

So, the things we are going to need are:

1) A bag of chips, albeit it can be mash potatoes, vegetables, or whatever you want as a side.
2) Olive oil.
3) MorningStar nuggets. (The reason I love this nuggets, besides being spicey are that you can split them for individual portions, cook them and eat them later.)
4) Barbecue Sauce (In my case, Sweet Baby Ray Cola-Q flavor)
5) Two skillets.

As simple as, so the first step is to pour 3 tablespoon of olive oil into the skillets. We are going to let them heat for about 5 to 10 minutes, until the oil is hot.

As the temperatures of oven and stoves varies, you have to be careful as you don't want to burn anything. My stove has number, from 1 to 10, 5 being the middle, and is always the temperature I use to heat the oil. The reason I like to use two skillets is because that way I can cook independently my items.

So we are going to open the chicken nuggets, there is enough for two people. This can be used and reheated later and can be consumed as if it was new. If you are going to consume later, just use the micro-wave to reheat it or a small toaster oven and they will be as good as new.

When the oil is hot, you can throw the french fries, as well the nuggets. Depending on the intensity of the stove, they shall be ready in about 15 to 20 minutes. One thing with the fries, whenever you cook them on the stove, they can get burn on the sides and they won't be evenly, but yet they will be edible.

When the nuggets are slightly toast, use the barbecue sauce, and spread around the item. The color they have to take is slightly brown, and you will be able to smell the sauce cooking around the nuggets.

So after 20 minutes, you will have a simple dish made with things you can find in your fridge and freezer, I know my fries got burned a little bit, but they meal was quite amazing.

Thank you for reading, and I hope you have a nice day.
